What engines can I get for the Wrangler?
Five engines are available for the 2022 Wrangler, and no matter which one you go with, you will be treated to an immense amount of power. Standard on most trims is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which comes with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, several optional engines are available for the Wrangler, with the first being a turbocharged 2.0-liter that gives you 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque available on both two-door and four-door configurations. The other engines are available for four-door models. The first is a diesel engine which is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that has 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, and the second is a powerful 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines get an automatic transmission. Finally, the fantastic plug-in hybrid known as the 4xe has 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. No matter where you want to traverse, the Jeep Wrangler will have your back!
What features can I get with the Wrangler?
Three trims are available for the Wrangler, and each one brings you a ton of features. Starting things is the base Sport trim which comes with foglights, tow hooks, skid plates, 17-inch steel wheels, and a 5-inch touchscreen. Then there is the Sport S trim which adds to the fun with alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and air conditioning. If you want your Wrangler to have a few more luxury items, then we highly recommend the four-door Sahara trim, which has a body-colored grille and fender flairs, 18-inch wheels, full-time four-wheel-drive, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Want to go further off-road? Then check out the Rubicon trim! It has 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, heavy-duty front and rear axles, locking front and rear differentials, and rock rails. Building off the Rubicon is teh Rubicon 392, which adds high-performance electronic brakes, a 2-inch suspension lift, Fox shock absorbers, LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an upgraded infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
Are there any safety systems I can get with the Wrangler?
Of course, there are! While the Wrangler is known for its off-road prowess and its massive amount of features, numerous safety systems will have your back no matter where you venture off to. Standard is a Blind Spot Monitoring System with Rear-Cross Path Detection that will monitor the areas around and behind your Wrangler and assist you with making safer lane changes. In addition, there is also the Adaptive Cruise Control system which will allow you to maintain a pre-set distance between the Wrangler and the traffic ahead of it. Last, but not least, there is the Forward Collision Mitigation system that will warn you of an impending frontal collision and can even hit the brakes if you fail to do so!
