There are two engine options available for the Gladiator, and they both deliver the kind of power that Jeep fans are used to. The standard option is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that gets you a whopping 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The power of this engine runs through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The optional engine is a diesel-powered and turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that gets you 260 horsepower and a spectacular 442 lb-ft of torque. These engines go nicely with a 5-foot bed and four-wheel-drive. Those looking for elite towing and hauling power will love the Gladiator as it can haul 7.650 pounds with a payload capacity of 1,700 pounds which tops the class.
